CM Higher Education Scholarship Rajasthan 2025-26: Apply Online & Check List

Are you a meritorious student who scored well in Class 12th but didn't get a government college? Or are you looking for financial support based on your marks rather than just your category?

The Rajasthan Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship (Mukhyamantri Uchcha Shiksha Chhatravriti Yojana) is designed exactly for students like you. Unlike the Samaj Kalyan scholarship which is caste-based, this scheme focuses on Merit.

If you have passed your 12th board exams with good marks and are listed in the Top 1 Lakh Students by the board, the Rajasthan Government will provide you with ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per year for your higher studies.

Important Update (Jan 2026): The portal for the academic session 2025-26 is currently active. Students are advised to submit their forms via SSO ID before the deadline to avoid server issues.

⚠️ Crucial Rule: Can I Apply for SJE and CM Scholarship Both?

NO. You cannot avail benefits of two government scholarships simultaneously.

  1. Choose SJE (Samaj Kalyan) if your college fees are high (e.g., Private B.Tech, Nursing), as SJE refunds the full tuition fee. Get more details about Samaj Kalyan Scholarship Rajasthan.
  2. Choose CM Scholarship if you are in a Government College with low fees (e.g., ₹2000 fees), as this scheme gives you a fixed ₹5,000, which is more beneficial in this case.

Scholarship Amount (Benefits)

Under this scheme, the amount is transferred directly to the student's bank account via DBT.

  1. General/OBC/SC/ST Students: ₹500 per month (Max 10 months) = ₹5,000 per year.
  2. Divyang (Disabled) Students: ₹1,000 per month (Max 10 months) = ₹10,000 per year.

This scholarship is valid for a maximum of 5 years or until your course ends (whichever is earlier).
