IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 2026: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 2026 Notification for Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Eligible unmarried male candidates can apply for the Hospitality and Housekeeping streams through the offline application process. Candidates must download the application form, complete it, and send it to the prescribed address before 17 August 2026.

IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Eligibility Criteria 2026

1. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible; selected candidates must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period.
2. Minimum height: 152 cm; minimum chest expansion: 5 cm.
3. Vision: 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye; refractive error not exceeding ±3.5 D including astigmatism.
4. Minimum 14 dental points; candidates with dental implants or fixed/removable orthodontic appliances will be declared unfit.
5. Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, except on the inner forearm, back of hand, or as per tribal custom.
6. Only Sikh candidates may retain unshorn hair, beard, and moustache as per religious practice.

Pay, Allowances & Terminal Benefits

1. Agniveer Package: Starts at Rs. 30,000/- per month in Year 1, rising to Rs. 33,000/-, Rs. 36,500/-, and Rs. 40,000/- by Year 4, plus Risk & Hardship, Dress, and Travel allowances, along with ration, clothing, accommodation, and LTC as per rules
2. Allowances & Benefits: Risk & Hardship Allowance, Dress Allowance, Travel Allowance, Free Ration, Clothing, Accommodation, Medical Facilities, and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) as per Indian Air Force rules.
3. Seva Nidhi Package: Candidates will receive an approximate ₹10.04 Lakh Seva Nidhi Package after successfully completing four years of service. This includes the candidate's 30% monthly contribution, matched equally by the Government.
4. Insurance Cover: Selected candidates will be provided with ₹48 Lakh Non-Contributory Life Insurance during the engagement period.
5. Permanent Enrolment: After completing the four-year tenure, up to 25% of Agniveers may be enrolled as Regular NC(E) in the Indian Air Force based on their performance, organizational requirements, and merit.

Stage 1: Written Examination (General English & General Knowledge)

Written Exam Pattern

1. General English: 15 Marks
2. General Knowledge: 15 Marks

4. Qualifying Marks: Minimum 5 marks in each subject and 15 marks (50%) overall.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

1. PFT-I: 1.6 KM Run in 7 Minutes
2. PFT-II: 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, and 20 Squats (within the prescribed time as per official guidelines)

Candidates can apply for the IAF Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 2026 by following the steps below:

1. Download the application form from the "Application Forms" section under the "Agniveervayu Non-Combatant" tab on the official website.
2. Fill out the application form in CAPITAL LETTERS and in English only, selecting only one stream (Hospitality or Housekeeping).
3. Enter your Name, Father's Name, and Date of Birth exactly as mentioned in your Class 10 (Matriculation) Certificate.
4. Affix one self-attested passport-size colour photograph on both the application form and the admit card.
5. Attach self-attested copies of your Aadhaar Card, Class 10 Mark Sheet, Class 10 Passing Certificate, Character Certificate, and Experience Certificate (if applicable).
6. Enclose a self-addressed envelope with a ₹10 postage stamp affixed.
7. Sign the PFT/Medical Consent Form yourself if you are 18 years or older. If you are below 18 years, it must be signed by your parent or legal guardian.
8. Send the completed application form by Ordinary Post or submit it through the Drop Box to any one of the addresses mentioned in the official notification. The application must reach on or before 17 August 2026.
9. Candidates submitting more than one application form will have their candidature rejected.
